Americanas SA
Americanas SA set out to unify its institutional and investor relations websites into a single, newly designed platform. To achieve this, our design team conduct a Sprint aimed at addressing the core needs of each context and building a cohesive brand identity for the new environment. Beyond the unified platform itself, new features and interactive elements were developed to support Americanas SA’s visual storytelling, including an interactive timeline, a news portal, a social projects portfolio, and a comprehensive ecosystem showcasing the company’s brands and sub-brands.

Site map discovery:
guide to sketches and wireframes
The sitemap discovery was a key stage of the project, carried out collaboratively with the client to establish a macro-level understanding of the website. We mapped the pages and their content to define the starting points that guided the initial sketches and, later on, the wireframes.
Art direction exploration that
defines the website’s visual language.
After validating all the website pages in wireframe form, we moved on to the graphic exploration stage, where we developed the first layout studies. Following the guidelines from Americanas SA’s brandbook, we explored compositions, layouts, graphic elements, photography, and other visual resources to achieve unique results within the brand universe. This is a key phase for validating the visual language which, once approved, is then applied across all areas of the website.
Americanas SA Timeline.
A free and chronological navigation.
One of the primary goals of the new platform was the creation of an interactive, internally managed timeline highlighting Americanas SA’s key milestones. This tool emerged from the growing number of achievements and brands developed by the company over the years. To provide a clear, comprehensive view of this trajectory, we designed a responsive timeline with a dual-axis navigation system: milestone bullets along the line and complementary side slides.
Sustainability and Social Projects:
required greater visibility and better organization.
Beyond the timeline, the Sustainability and Social Projects areas needed to be enhanced in their respective environments. To this end, in Sustainability, we created a cleaner, more interactive environment with information about ESG Strategies, as well as external links connecting to the respective sustainability themes. In Social Projects, we designed the Americanas SA social project portfolio, a space dedicated to the brand's impact projects that can be viewed intuitively in a responsive grid with their respective categories and the possibility of applying search filters.
Brand Ecosystem and how it
enables intuitive user interaction.
The Americanas SA brand ecosystem has also gained a new format that briefly presents each brand in the group with external links, in addition to access to the Brand Center. The intention of this brand panel is to provide a macro overview of each brand belonging to the group, generating greater identification and understanding of how it works.
News Hub is an informative space
featuring the latest news
Americanas SA's new news center is a space dedicated to creating content that is updated daily with stories about the brand, both internally and externally. The area contains all published news categorized into specific categories, which can be located using the area's filter. Within the news section, users can read the full content, which includes text, photos, and videos, and can also share the article.
A mobile experience as simple as it should be
In addition to the improvements presented throughout the case, one of the essential parameters for the project was its responsibility. Therefore, mobile deployments were also the subject of study and care from the beginning to the end of the project.
